Brady Samuelson

Research Associate

Kane Lab

Samuelson recently graduated from Texas A&M Galveston with a B.S. in Marine Biology. During that time, he acquired laboratory skills in a toxicology lab, got his hands dirty performing liver perfusions on live alligators, and even picked up and cared for sea turtles while working in a sea turtle rehabilitation center. At the end of his time in college, coming out of COVID, he decided to shift his focus into the biomedical sciences where he found a greater passion.

He is interested in the underlying molecular processes that contribute to aging and in turn, frailty. He is especially interested in how questions arising from aging can be addressed with regenerative medicine using a systems biology approach.
